Taalim School of Indian Music |
| The Taalim School of Indian Music is the premiere institute for tabla in Northeastern United States. Our core strength is instruction in the Indian hand drums - tabla. In addition, we offer classes in acoustic guitar. Founded in 2000, the institute has grown to become one of the largest tabla schools in region with 15 locations for regular group classes in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania and private lessons in countless more locations. |

| The Taalim School of Indian Music offers regular tabla classes, lessons, workshops, group & personal tuitions. The tabla lessons are given by the best tabla teachers. The Taalim School is led by senior professional disciples of world-renowned Tabla Guru Pandit Divyang Vakil. |

| "Taalim" means training. At the Taalim School, students learn Tabla in the Guru-Shishya parampara (the traditional way of learning an art in India). |

| In addition to its regular tabla classes, Taalim School of Indian Music also: |
- hosts public Indian classical music events
- conducts listening sessions and video showings for its students
- presents Indian drumming workshops
- presents lectures & presentations on Indian classical instruments
- holds student recitals
